Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Great shave this morning. Went with Noble Otter's "'Tis the Season" soap and splash. The soap is an evergreen bomb with notes of pine and cedar. There are other notes in there as well, but take a back seat to the green notes. Incredibly slick lather built with the Riva Manchurian badger brush for two passes (+ touch-up) with the Gillette Fat Boy and I finished with the matching splash and "CK One Shock" EdT.

Made in my country, South Korea, where there are few shave soap makers.

Terry just released this wonderful set.

After getting the set, I could recognise that it also has a wonderful scent again.

HP&S is inspired by Dior Sauvage and this Silent Season is inspired by Louis Vuitton L'Immensité.

Top notes are Grapefruit, Ginger and Bergamot; middle notes are Water Notes, Sage, Rosemary and Geranium; base notes are Ambroxan, Amber and Labdanum.

I couldn't feel water notes but could feel citrus scents from bergamot and grapefruit, floral ones from rosemary and geranium, and warm, some musky and leathery ones from amber and labdanum.

What I felt from the scents in general is that they really suit a lonely man in winter.

They felt a bit light at first but soon became deep and heavy but not excessive. Very well balanced.

When it comes to lather, the base is horse fat(oil), which is very similar to human's and relieves irritation very well. Other than that, other ingredients in horse oil promotes slickness and great protection(cushion) and slickness doesn't vanish till each pass finishes.

So the gliding of the razor was exceptional and my skin didn't have any pain from the shave with this soap.

And the splash has been upgraded. After applying it, the skin got smooth and I refreshed myself with these scents.

Loved today's shave.
