I’ve given my face a few days rest; as of late, something has produced a lot of irritation on my sensitive-skinned visage. Last night whilst sitting in bed reading, I remembered that the Haslinger Schafmilch soap that I ordered had arrived earlier in the week so, I jumped up, grated it with a cheese grater and pressed it into the bowl selected for it last week. Whipping up the lather was a joy and I absolutely loved applying that creamy goodness with the brush. The Gillette Fat Boy set at 9 for the initial pass, loaded with a Gillette 7 O’clock Super Stainless blade on its third shave, did glide through the lather taking with it the three days of growth. After two passes and a little cleanup, I’m enjoying an irritation-free DFS and my face feels great and I am quite fond of the Haslinger soap. The Chiseled Face Groomatorium’s Ghost Town Barber provided an excellent finishing touch, which was confirmed by the wife.
