Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Brush: Omega synthetic
Razor: Rex Envoy
Blade: Treet Carbon (1)
Shave: With the grain, re-lather. Across the grain, re-lather, Against the grain (riding the cap).
Aftershave: PAA Creosote, two splashes.
Result: 7/10. The Rex Envoy handles like a dream. I really wanted to like these Treet Carbons but they just can't seem to clear underjaw whiskers. Mustache and sideburn areas are glass smooth. Under chin is like just this side of sandpaper. Hopefully the Treet Carbons will perform better in another razor. Almost time to put the whole Treet experiment on hold, however. Shark week is getting terrifyingly close! Check your local listings!
