BIC Chromium Platinum is just killing it, working for me as well in the 6C as in the R41. Last week in Cambodia before heading back to Vietnam to visit friends in lovely Vung Tau.

Celestino, what kind of knot is it?  MS 2-band..?  Who makes it?  It's early and I'm only on my 2nd cup of coffee.  LoL

Eric, don't tell me you haven't heard of the Maseto Shaving (MS) brushes.
This is an early iteration when they were labeled LS shaving brushes and the knot is quite larger than the newer ones, but a bit less dense. Nonetheless, I have two of these and they are superb knots.
You really should try one of these 30mm knots (more like 31-32mm) because for $50 USD delivered to your door, they are an incredible bargain, in my opinion. You can find them on ebay.
