Second, I got into this too late to try Rhapsody. What is it like? How do you like it? I think I would love it based on the B&M website description.
Second, Thanks! I love the brushes made by Derek (Wild West Brushworks).
Third, the soap itself is great! Lather was incredibly slick and cushioning. The scent threw me honestly. The write up on the B&M page repeatedly cites "New York" by Nicolai as inspiration but the addition of the pear, cherry and apple blossom notes seem to overpower everything else, especially the juice on which it was based. I have the frag and wore it after the shave and smelling it compared to the lingering splash scent on my hands, they really didn't have anything in common that I could detect. Maybe I'm completely wrong and this soap/splash was meant to be its own thing, apart from the frag. B&M's olfactory homage to the city just as the frag was Patricia's personal homage.

Good morning all! Hope you a great weekend.
Great shave this morning. Went back to Dragonsbeard / ETHOS Grooming Essentials and his namesake soap and skin food masterpiece this morning. Great scent with dark, smoky, woody resinous notes and super slick, cushioning lather built with the Wild West Brushworks "Rosé Noir" ST brush for two passes (+ touch-up) and I finished with a splash of ETHOS Grooming Essentials "Dragonsbeard" skin food splash and a spray of Viktor & Rolf "SpiceBomb" EdT.
Hope you have a great day.

Tomorrow I'm heading out for several days on vacation and I'll be taking my travel razor (Van Der Hagen TTO) and a tuck of Derby Extras.
Have a great vacation by the way!
