Great shave on which to end the workweek. Went back to Wholly Kaw and their Spring-time winner, "Chypre Rose Concerto". Great scent with earthy rose / floral notes atop a nice, deep, woody green base. Super slick, cushioning lather built with the Badlands Shaving "409 Purple & Royal Amboyna Burl" ST brush for two passes (+ touch-up) and I finished with the matching splash and a spray of Czech & Speake "No.88" EdC.

Got a couple things going on today. Gave a run with the Sentinel 1.50 setup after yesterday's 1.35. much more to my liking. Very efficient leaving me BBS with zero burn or irritation. That being said, both plates could easily be a daily driver. One of the guys in my testing group mentioned that Cremo Bourbon and Oak complimented Zingari Man Barrel Proof quite nicely. Found a good deal on a bottle so gave it a try. I think the pairing is fantastic and the Cremo could easily be used with other woodsy or boozy sets. Great, versatile scent. To finish everything off I went with Reuzel Wood and Spice beard balm which also paired nicely and added its own depth to the scent line up. Quite pleased with today's shave and definitely a frequent matching in the den.
