So. Yep. I did it. ARKO. What else do I need to say?

Most people either love it or hate it, rarely do people fall in between. If you don't know and are curious, go get yourself some. Find out for yourself where you stand. The worst thing is you're out $6 or so. The best thing is you found yourself a true classic that's affordable and has stood the test of time. Either way, you've learned something about yourself.

I had a great shave with this 1930's era Gillette NEW, paired with a 1948 Gillette Blue Blade. The razor, deceivingly mild at first but efficient in no small part due to its open-comb design, works very well to provide me with a fantastic shave. Ultimately I ended up with a sweet bbs after doing some against-the-grain buffing.

Once my glorious vintage shave was done I splashed on some (also somewhat) controversial Pinaud Lilac Vegetal. I've said it before and I'll say it again. She either loves you or she doesn't. There is no in-between. Well my good friends, she most certainly loves me.

After all was said and done, I did feel some post-shave irritation, so I applied some truly amazing Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream Extra-Dry, and all the irritation was gone. This stuff is amazing and I can't recommend it enough.
