Organsim 46b opens with a distinct Grand Marnier and cocoa vibe. Later, the sweetness of the liqueur mellows a bit revealing cured tobacco, but it remains boozy all the while.  The splash presents the same way, except it's a bit more of the bitter orange.  It unfolds similarly, but the dry down is interesting.  The sweetness transforms to something reminiscent of warm caramel without the buttery note. Then there's a brief powdery element followed by a gentle, sustained cool ethereal essence.  It's quite a ride!

Beautiful photo, as usual! Thanks also for sharing your keen observations. They always give any reader a good idea of what to expect with the product in question.

I'm really glad that the Y/R/P Eau de Toilette is going on sale Friday because this was the last of the test sample you sent me. Big Grin[/align]

Awesome, thanks, Freddy! I think you'll like the final tweaks I made on the formula. Got the yuzu to have a little bit more longevity and kind of smoothed out the edges a bit, filled it out if you will. I am very excited about how it turned out. I also had some people over yesterday and even the people who aren't into fragrances were loving it.

Friday, May 13, 2018 - Shave of the Day

Brush  |  Dogwood Gryffindor + Declaration B4 (26mm)
Soap  | Art of Shaving Lavender Cream
Razor  |  BlackBird Machined/ KAI(2)
A/S  |  Art of Shaving Ocean Kelp

I prefer Mid-Mild razors, but this BlackBird is an absolute favorite of mine. It has a fairly small bladegap (0.58mm) but very large blade exposure. It is what people call 'very efficient razor'. After the initial learning period, this razor has been a joy to use.

I must say that I am slowly learning how to use a badger brush. As long as I take a dumb-proof soap (or cream), I can get a decent lather going with my good and dense badgers. So today was a good shave.

Happy mothers day to you and to all the mothers around the world.
