Oh no, it’s cracked!
Yup, the blade is cracked. I bought this Wostenholm razor last weekend. It was rusty, dirty, scratched, and chipped, but original! I suspect the crack preserved it from further use and abuse. I cleaned, polished, and sharpened the blade. It is the heaviest razor I have - a real cleaver.
After using it, I put a small drop of Brownell's water-dispersing oil on the crack and wiped it over the whole blade.
