Phoenix SS-AL DOC/Kai. Very underappreciated razor. Hybrid steel and aluminum head with Ti handle yields good balance and a comfortable 53g.My only nitpick is the comb is a little toothy, but results superb with handle backed off 1/8 or so.[Image: bcc87e6b2b85c3d88541062fdd51a3af.jpg]

Great Friday shave. Busted out the Edwin Jagger with a fresh Shark Blade. The brush is a EverReady C40 with Badger knot. The soap for this hot summer day is Margaritas In The Arctic from Stirling. Very Refreshing! A 3 pass shave with a finish of Alum and Witch Hazel cleaned up. Finalized today with the Baby Blue Barbershop AS.

Now....I’m ready for the weekend.

For today's shave I used the Lather and Wood soap for the first time.  I'd never heard about it, but one of our customers, whose opinion I trust, raved about it.  It was ~$16.00 on Amazon, so I figured "why not?"  It's a very hard soap, but the easiest lathering soap I've experienced.  (Cushion, and glide were both top drawer as well.  A new favorite.)  Beyond that, a BSSW Estate Badger Knight, my well-patched Dirty Bird scuttle, and 6/8 Frederick Reynolds near wedge from the 1830's.
