Nice Omega brush. I'm not seeing as many Omega users as I used to, it seems.
I have two of these, actually. This is the second one. The first one turned out to be a shedder until she stopped losing hair, but I estimate it lost between a 15 or 20% of its density. It still lathers nicely, though, and I use it as a travel brush. These Omegas are, for me, the best bang for your buck out there. If you use them regularly they become soft as a feather and have a very nice backbone, and lack the annoying tendency of stealing your lather that other boar brushes have. I have badger brushes, synthetics and other boars, but this is my favourite boar, by far. I could have just this brush and I'd be perfectly happy.
That's too bad about the shedder. I have had or gifted about 10 Omega boar brushes, and none have been defective. I would have to say my favorite brush is an Omega 10005 I have had since I started this kind of shaving 10 years ago or so. I only use a badger or synthetic these days because they are quicker to use; the boar has to soak for at least 10 minutes before use.

RAZOR * Darwin Hollow Ground Safety Razor - Stainless steel.
BLADE * Darwin as above. Hundreds of shaves.
BRUSH * RazoRock 'Monster' Synthetic.
BOWL * Michal Yoresh Electric.
SOAP * Caties Bubbles Literal Rose Cream.
AFTER * Aqua Velva Musk.
SHAVE * 3 Passes, 1 Touch up, BBS+
SHAVER * Aaaaaah![Image: IMGP8344.jpg]
At the base of the lid is a blade in storage. On the red strop is a blade ready to strop. Beside the instrument is one ready to shave. Below that blade is a bar with a hole, That is for storing the blade and handle in use.The strop has two sides, one is course and on its other side is fine.
The tiny screw on the blade is for adjusting the blade's gap.
