I really love the Mysore fragrance. The lather was wonderful, thick, rich, and slick, and the aftershave splash was very soothing.

Razor: WR2 SS 1.15 SB with WRH2, solid, basic polish
Blade: Wizamet (3)
Soap: Boellis Panama 1924 Shave Soap
Brush: EverReady 1000 (a.k.a., “The Hiding Badger”)
Bowl: CC ceramic bowl

Amazing shave.  I’ve been using a wide variety of different shaving tools in recent months, and this particular razor is just amazing.  (And it’s not just personal bias because I paid  a lot of dollars; this tool just plain works, really really well).  It’s smooth and mild but also incredibly close-shaving, and with no irritation or surprises whatsoever.  It’s taken me some time, and the experience of a bunch of razors, to more fully appreciate the 1.15 WR2.  The soap is just outstanding.  Mild pleasant scent, mild on the face, very easy to create a plentiful lather, excellent slick and cushion, tolerates a very wide range of hydration, and has excellent post-shave.  What more can I say about this vintage brush?  It’s an actual badger, dressed up as a vintage brush.  It’s house-trained, low-maintenance, fun-loving, loyal, and incredibly well-mannered (even when there’s company in the house)!  It doesn’t get any better than that folks. Good luck finding one of your own.  Nothing more to say really, other than ...

Happy Shaves Everyone!

Preshave: Stirling Glacial Post Shave Balm

Razor: Henson Ti-22 Medium

Blade: Nacet (2)

Soap: Elvado True North 1867

Post Shave: Stirling Glacial Post Shave Balm

--

What a good shave.

Decided I wanted to revisit the use of the post shave as a Preshave. Seems to do well for me, moisturizing the skin.

The soap hasn't been used in some time, as it was purchased for travel (which I rarely do, even before covid).

Still my go-to razor, the Henson Ti works quite well for me.

Have a good evening folks!
