I have been, as of lately, experiencing some weird reactions to the Bulldog balm. It had been causing me some rednesses and a quite unpleasant feeling of heat on my freshly shaven skin. It took me a couple of shaves to pinpoint the Bulldog balm as the culprit, and thereafter it has been left in the cabinet for the time being, and I've used other products instead. This Logona balm you see pictured there is a product of an exceptional quality. It's not a dedicated shaving product. Instead, it is more of an anti-ageing, hydratant balm. It constains a lot of the goodies you want in a good after shave, such as Shea butter, Aloe Vera, jojoba and almond oils. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
Again, the combination of the Lea stick and the Lea Classic shaving creams let me enjoy the benefits of a tallow soap and a mentholated cream enriched with lanolin. Glorious three pass shave with my favourite razor and blade combination. The brush had not seen any action in quite a while, but after using it today, I have realized that medium sized brushes like this one (22x48) are what works best for me in terms of ease of delivery of the lather and handling. It also has little to no appetite for my lather, which is another plus. I'll keep this in mind for future purchases.
