Excellent shave. Submariner is one of my favorite scents in wetshaving.

Prep - Noxzema / Hot towel
Pre shave - Proraso
Razor – Hone 15
Blade – Astra S/S
Brush - 'The Duke' (Duke 3 Best)
Soap – Barrister & Mann – Hallows
Post - Witch Hazel, Trevarno Revitalising Face Oil

2nd attempt at Barrister & Mann – Hallows...this time with 'The Duke'.. BOOM!! Oh yes, they like each other.. Lashings of thick, creamy lather, and The Hone / Astra S/S combo delivered a DFS.. RESULT!

Friday's Shave

Razor: Ever-Ready Streamline
Blade: Gem PTFE SS (D5)
Brush: Zen Shave Finest 24mm
Bowl: Dirty Bird 1.5 Scuttle
Pre Shave Scrub: MRGLO
Pre Shave Oil: Homemade Bay Rum w Lime
Shave Soap: Crowne & Crane Caribbean Spice
Post: Monster Alum Block
Aftershave: Extro Bay Rum Artigianale

Excellent setup and presentation Guy. Ta da, it's Friday. Happy2
Thanks Doug. I worked harder in the kitchen yesterday than I do in the office. Have the next four days off as well and will relax all day watching football. First time using the Streamline Razor and have to say the hype on this Ever Ready is correct. Even though 5th day with the blade one pass was really all that was required on my face but 2nd XTG pass touched up the neck and right under the chin. Well made razor that is for sure. Also first time using the Zen Finest Badger. At first didn't know what to expect with the knot as it was pretty darn prickly and stiff before the knot was soaked while I showered but the tips were soft and decent backbone but not overly stiff. The C&C soap also was first and a unique twist with Bay Rum. I have another that has ginger in it and ginger is pronounced, but this one also has a spice twist to it as well, rather like it aroma and cant beat the shave quality of this soap, excellent glide and post shave feel.
