After reading the Seibert's last update on Luke, which included the statement from his mom: "Today was a lot of evaluation for him and he rose to the challenge." I decided to "Shave with Confidence!" Keep up the great work with the recovery guys! smile emoticon

You all got this!

I am actually shocked at how well it went. I was kind of expecting a couple of good nicks, and possibly even a good cut that might require some bandaging, but I managed 2 full passes with only 2 teeny-tiny little nicks on the back of my head, out of sight. I did switch to me Super Speed for touchups and final cleanup, but you are looking at one very happy, and VERY excited new shavette owner!

Chris, I never had any doubts about these accomplishments.  Everything you try offers all of us a new door to enter, a new attempt, and the promise of a possible success given a wee bit of work. Happy2

Thank you Smile

That blade looks very cool, even if it does scare me! Seriously, though, great photo and that blade does look very handsome.

It scared me, too! But the moment the blade touched my scalp it felt very much "at home". It was actually more intuitive than my first attempt with a DE, mainly because I already have a basic understanding of blade angles, pressure, and a solid feel for my trouble spots...
