Sorry, no pictures but with all this talk of Hallows this and Hallows that I figured I'd break out my previous release Hallows (2014 I think) and I can see the tub bottom so I'll have to use it judiciously.  I don't have any Hallows splash as it wouldn't ship to Canada even if I had got at it on release which I didn't.

Here it is:

Pre-shave - MRGLO
Soap - Barrister & Mann Hallows
WTG pass - ikon OSS with Gillette Silver Blue blade
XTG pass - razorock Black Mamba with Volkshod blade
ATG pass - Feather ASD2 with Feather blade
Osma Alum block
Barrister & Mann Leviathan Splash

Oh wyzeOne, do you mix the osage rub and clubman in your hand and splash it on? Sounds intriguing and definitely worth trying.

Music theme today.  Couldn't decide on which pic to use.  Featuring one of my favorite bands of all time, The Alabama 3.  You haven't gotten a taste of them until you've heard at least 10 of their tracks.

Today, I used my V8 Kent brush for the first time.  I picked up this boxed, apparently unused at a thrift shop for $5.  It's a very nice brush, although I don't know much about it.

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Proraso - Sandalwood
Soap: OSP - Bay Rum
Bowl: Greek Pottery
Brush: Whipped Dog 24mm synthetic
Razor: ATT R1 + Kronos handle
Blade: Personna Platinum
After: WH, Barbershop Bay Rum AS, Sandalwood Skin Food

First use of The Obsessive Soap Perfectionist's Bay Rum soap and I can't fault it in any way. I thought it might have had a stronger scent but what's there is just right. No skin reaction to the soap which I think is more important. I find some other Bay Rum soaps which are more highly scented can make my skin turn a little red.
Only used this WD brush a few times. It's definitely got more backbone than my Plisson brush (which has almost none) and I can see it as being a great all-rounder brush. I still like my Muhle 23mm Kosmo synthetic brush which I think has a tad less backbone but softer experience. They just perform differently.

Have a great Sunday, folks.
