First use of Gillette 7 o'clock Yellow with my Rockwell. I used the R6 plate as usual. The shave was very smooth and easy, though I got a small weeper at the base of my neck. The lather was ridiculously thick, and Krampert's finished it up nice and chilly.
Prep: Chattilon Lux Butter
Soap: B-M Reserve Cool
Brush: Brothers Bristles Bronze Shadow
Razor: Rockwell s6 R6
Blade: Gillette 7 o'clock Yellow
AS: Krampert's Finest Frostbite[Image: b2af8e6de95be91c660ff2794ce8ea96.jpg]

Another jet-lag at 4:30am shave. Shimmed Blue Star in the 1912/Rockwell handle, oil only. Not a great shave, sometimes I wonder if there is enough variation in QC in Gem carbons to explain a disappointing shave. Or maybe it's just that I'm cranky being awake. BBS but a bit more work than I wanted at this hour.[Image: 6a06b084afa4a10d807873b7a6e80496.jpg]

RazoRock Old Type w/HALO Handle / Wizamet Polsilver Stainless
Maseto Shaving 30mm Finest Fan
PdP Shaving Soap
Thayers Aloe Vera Formula Rose Petal Witch Hazel

PdP is an enigma for me.  I think I always get really close, comfortable shaves with it, but the lather is different from just about any other soap/cream that I own.  Maybe I should just downsize and use only PdP?   Confused  Just kidding!!!  Big Grin  Big Grin  Big Grin
