I think I found the right blade for such a scalpel as this Blackbird is.

Another great brush, with moderate backbone and extremely soft tips.

I love the Emillion style. Would love to get hold of another Rooney Two Band of that time. I used to own one but it was already of the later batches and a bit too scratchy for my liking.

Yes, in my experience only a few of the older Rooney were scratchy, and I did not keep them. For me the vast majority have had really soft tips.
