Hi, Michael, and thanks. I have not used the suribachi for long, perhaps 6 weeks altogether, but I have not noticed any wear and tear on my brushes at all.

After a few shaves with a shavette got back to a using a DE. Two pass cold water shave was good enough for a DFS.

Thanks, Kevin! I felt like the gloves fit the profile. Gloves only last me a year, tops. I wear the finger tips completely through (tossing logs, mostly).
