Even though in the past I despise daily shaving, it has been getting better with adjustments in gear and technique. It has become more comfortable and very enjoyable, maybe part due to the new challenge.

Cheers gentlemen! Happy2

The General felt a bit rough today, I suspect the Extro is just a bit short on protection for it.[Image: 39ebff2dc06c3d7225d3d88a4e401ede.jpg]

Excellent shave with WSP today. The lather built up quickly and easily, providing plenty of slickness for the Rockwell 6s. The matching balm smells great and packs a decent menthol kick, enough to be refreshing on a humid day. Teachers come back Monday for staff week, then students arrive soon after. The summer went by fast!
Prep: Chatillon Lux butter
Soap: WSP Tobacco Formula T
Brush: Brothers Bristles Bronze Shadow
Razor: Rockwell 6s R6
Blade: voskhod ???
AS: WSP Tobacco Balm

Italian Barber Amici Shaving Soap
Pitralon Pure After Shave

So, a local friend of mine has expressed interest in traditional wet shaving.  Part of the kit that I PIF'd to him includes IB Amici shaving soap and a RR "Bruce" synthetic brush.  I'd used these before, but just wanted to revisit them to make sure they were as solid choices as I remembered.  And, I remembered correctly!(That doesn't happen as often as it used to....lol)  The brush and soap performed very well!

The Bic DE blade was a blade that was horrible for me in the past, but it worked out great for this shave!  I think maybe my lathering skills were not quite up to snuff back when I tried this blade in the before.  It makes me think that I should try some of the other blades that I have laying around now.
