Timeless Razor 0.95 Scalloped | Astra Super Platinum
Edwin Jagger Synthetic XL | Silvertip Fibre V2.0
Soap Smooth Tallow | Jasmine Tea

Second use of Timeless Razor, it was much better, I much appreciate the increase of audible feedback of using this razor as compared to my other razor, at least now I can easily enjoy music while shaving. I am one of those person that needs to listen to audible feedback when shaving! Today shaves is much better than yesterday, technically no nicks but I did reopened one wound from yesterday. If this keeps up I may have to try the 0.68 standard bar, since using 0.95, I can't sleep while shaving, it may bites.

First go with Soap Smooth and it burns my face, I will say it is not the fault of the soaps, sometime when I did intense long run, soaps tend to burn my face. i.e Cold River Soap Works Citrus Paradisi and a safe Stirling Orange Chill, and I use those regularly to know that it is not the ingredient in the soaps that makes my face burn, but perhaps the reaction of my skin after a run and all. Since once I rinse off the lather of Soap Smooth, the burn stops immediately, so it is definitely not a allergic reaction.

Soap Smooth Jasmine Tea, I got this soap because I want to try Soap Smooth and I need to get a scent that my girlfriend will enjoy since she is interested to try wet shaving as well. Scent is much like you expect from the scent of the soap, Jasmine Tea, pretty spot on. It was easy to load and lather, I didn't have to spend much time to get to the consistency that I like; thick, cushion, sheen and slick. Though I will say the post shave was just average for me, it does it jobs but it leaves me to desire more.

All in all, Soap Smooth is a fantastic performer, up there with any good artisan soaps, just lacking on the post shave. I definitely will have to return to use Soap Smooth once my backlog of soaps are finish as I need to make sure that this soap don't burn my face, which I am quite sure it won't.

I was hesitating between the Alvarez Gómez cream and this Eufros, but decided that as long as the weather allows it, I'm gonna stick to these complex, rich, warm and spicy wintertime scents. I was a little too generous with the water I added to my lather today, but with this Eufros that doesn't mean that you'll see your lather vanishing in your face as you shave. It just means that you will have to work it with the brush a bit more, that's all. I can't say the same of all my soaps.
There was a brand new blade in my Edwin Jagger Kelvin razor today, and the fresh blade usually means a better shave. Two passes, a few touch-ups and BBS, with no incidents. I love the combo that the Polsilvers and the 89 head make. A splash of Tüff and some Eufros balm and I was good to go. The whole process took a bit over ten minutes. Traditional wet shaving isn't so time consuming as it used to be Rolleyes Wink .

Razor: Trac II
Blade: Col. Conk Trac II (4)
Brush: Brass handle w/ Black Badger?
Soap: Captain's Choice Sandalwood
Aftershave: Captain's Choice Sandalwood

The brush is not living up to my standards. Losing a lot of hair, now I can live with a brush being a little floppy, or a little prickly, but I can't stand a brush that loses hair.
Lots of Wild Turkey's in the yard today. High winds and lots of snow today.
