SOTN Chewsday
prep - shower with Caprina Fresh Goat’s Milk Original Formula bar soap
razor - Gillette '46 Aristocrat
blade - Shaverboy Super Stainless (3)
brush - Stirling 2-Band Synthetic
soap - The Body Shop Maca Root
post - warm water rinse, DSA “Pure & Natural” alum, cold water rinse
aftershave - Reuzel (the new clear version - not "nuclear" version)
The TBS Maca Root was from a PIF. Just a grotesque croapy lump in a plastic food storage container identified by a Sharpie marker on a paper label. It looked most unattractive, as creams go.
As near as I can make out, it is the earlier version of the Maca Root formula, but the second TBS cream after the "Mechanics For Men" formula. As it so happened, I had saved an empty TBS tub and transferred it to that.
This one, in the middle:
I then scraped a bunch of it (twice as much as usual) into the lather bowl and kept adding water until it dissolved all the lumps and crumbs.
Tons of creamy lather, possibly better than when that cream was new.
BBS, of course.
Lesson of the Day: If you have a soap that you feel is merely "okay" (for whatever reason), just use twice as much of it.
