prep - shower with Caprina Fresh Goat’s Milk Original Formula bar soap
razor - British Aristocrat Junior
blade - Shaverboy Super Stainless (11)
brush - Fendrihan Classic Pure Grey Badger
soap - Caprina Fresh Goat’s Milk Original Formula bar soap (yes, really)
post - warm water rinse, DSA “Pure & Natural” alum, cold water rinse
aftershave - Pinaud Clubman Classic AS
I had planned to use a sample of Fendrihan "Sandalwood" cream on a Wee Scot, but during the shower I changed my mind because the Caprina bar soap is really creamy and slick once it's been wet for a minute or two.

I had to use my thumb to keep the bar from spinning around in the bowl while I charged the brush. The abundant lather was a bit frothy, but the residual slickness made up for it. It's at least as good as Williams Mug and better than Proraso croaps in that respect.
I should draft that half-used bar into exclusive shaving service, and store it in an empty TOBS tub so that it gets all croapy soft. Maybe even add some glycerin.
The aftershave was a mistake. I meant to use Clubman Vanilla, but I grabbed the Classic instead.
