I've been craving some Gunslinger and after smelling the soap from the jar yesterday I knew right away it was going to be my choice for today.
Gunslinger, if you don't know, is a dupe of Red Tobacco by Mancera, and no joke, it smells so good! It has the following accords in order of prominence: warm spicy, tobacco, woody, sweet, vanilla, amber, cinnamon, oud, fruity. What I can tell you is, is that it's a bangin' tobacco fragrance. I seriously want to pick up the official frag because of how much I like the scent. This one's really good gentlemen.
If you're a fan of tobacco you have to get this! If you aren't sure whether you like tobacco or not, this is the one to try. I highly recommend it.
Weekends are for straight razor shaving so out with the W&B I said. I'm too accustomed to bbs shaves though that I have to clean up with a D.E. I know, you're thinking why can't I get a bbs with a straight? Honestly, I don't know. I'll go against the grain but I just can't seem to get all my hair removed. So, I did a quick run with my Slim and hit that high note I'm so yearning for.
The HC&C soap base deserves a word as well because of how good it is. It's slick and creamy and I never fail to have a great shave with it.
Reaching the end of my therapy session, I spoiled myself with some Gunslinger splash. Basking in the fragrance from the splash makes me happy. It also earned me a compliment from my lady, so that's a plus.
Alright, my friends. That's my shave and I'm sticking to it. Take care and enjoy your shaves.
