The soap is a little over four years old (from when First Canadian was still just selling via Etsy), and has pretty much lost its bergamot scent. It still works great though. Only a few more shaves left in the tub. 

The brush was also an Etsy purchase, before APShaveCo got its own web site. He used to have quite a few that he'd put in vintage handles.

The round chunk of alum is what I pried out of the plastic handle. The flat bottom is a bit of an improvement over the rounded top, which cracked into a few small pieces.

The cobalt blue glass mug is going to be retired from lather duty, and sent to the kitchen for hot chocolate service. I think it was a latte bol in its previous life, so it's not much of a stretch. It's a bit too deep for lathering because the handle knocks against the side.

Oops. I just noticed that the brush missed out on the photo op when I made room for the alum.
