Offered is a very rare Paradigm 17-4 stainless steel razor, 80mm handle, 100g weight. Comes with an extra top plate that has slightly relaxed threading, allowing the head to be used with non-Paradigm handles. Always handled carefully and used gently. This razor is famous for its extraordinarily smooth and efficient shave. No longer available retail. Asking $725 shipped CONUS. SOLD

There were some past complaints of Paradigm heads not fitting onto other brand handles. This was discussed in various places, including this thread, with post #115 from Andy:

One of my razor's head top caps is supposed to have more relaxed threading to allow more handles to be used. I'm not sure which is which, since I have not used any other handles with the heads.

Which non-Paradigm handles/threading does the other top cap work with?

I don't know. You can probably find the answer in the thread for which I provided the link, and perhaps in other threads.

I broke out the Ti2 head (it’s the same as the 17-4). It fit all of my handles but 1-2.  You are pretty safe with selecting handles like Tibam and Windrose (tried both).

I believe the original issue as more with the 17-4 handle getting media in it during polishing in the treads vs the threads of the cap.

Anyhow very nice razor (same geometry as the Ti2) so if you like a nice, comfortable shave that is efficient here it is.
