beisler, I suspect it will help your goal of selling the razor to put a Feather blade in, take a pic (which is tricky) and post showing that their is no blade smile.

i would strongly recommend that any buyer de-spine and notch gem blades (look for stainless and ptfe coated gems); my version one has no smile and the blades last longer than the feathers! good luck with the sale and congratulations to whomever the new owner becomes!
