For sale is a G.E. Jones Shake Sharp razor. There are too many razors in my den and some have to go to others to enjoy, rather than collecting dust in my racks. In any case, this truly is an awesome shaver - in fact it is amazing! This razor is built to do a job in the most efficient manner. In addition, this is an engineering marvel and a piece of the shaving history, a rarity. These razors were produced from 1944 until the early 1950s.The design is incredible – the razor has been designed by an engineer. This is a single edge razor that uses regular double edge blades. Only one edge is exposed at any given time and the razor has to be opened and the blade flipped to expose the other edge. The head on the razor uses a slide lock and hinge arrangement and the hone that sharpens the blade (if necessary). The blade has some noticeable exposure, but because of the head design, it is a mild, albeit a smooth and efficient, shaver. The razor is in great shape, without any visible defects and it works as designed. Asking $65/OBO, shipped in CONUS, PayPal.

"Shake Sharp" sounds like an inevitable lawsuit when it slips out of my soapy hands while being shaken sharp!
