Very under rated. Easy to lather and very very slick

Vintage Shaver

It seems that some of the vintage shaving soaps get little love - or at least little attention on the forums. For example, Brooks Brothers, Crabtree & Evelyn Sienna, Harrods (by Floris), Floris Verbena, and Woods of Windsor. Occasionally they are offered at quite reasonable prices on the forums or the auction site.

Which one of those you mention are worthy of buying based on performance and scent. I will keep an eye out. Hate to see pucks go unloved

That's because almost, if not all, have been reformulated, i.e., "cheapened", as well as the top tier artisan soaps of today do so much more better.
Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

Amen on the Ogallala... I happened upon this brand, but almost never hear it spoken about. I love the vanilla scent... It's wonderful.

I currently have a dish mixed with Silinski's Santa's Soap and it is the best smelling soap mixture I have ever come across. It's got a great tobacco, vanilla, and spice scent. Perfect Holiday soap IMO. Then I'll use my other pure Ogallala Vanilla puck for the summer.

I’d have to say our soaps get very little forum love. We’re not fancy. No image art labels, exotic fats, etc. Just a small stable of solid performers.

It's current... I got it on West coast shaving. I dunno if it's also for sale on the bay or not, though.

They even sell half size samples (2oz)... At actual half price cost. Nice.
