My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I hope that he makes a full recovery from this terrible injury.

Holy smokes... just read the gofundme page as well. I knew it was bad but I had no idea it was that bad. My thoughts are with them. Such a wonderful family.

Yeah there was a link on Reddit to a Facebook post from Carrie.

Summed up for those who don't use Reddit:
-He was moved to Vanderbilt
-Some decrease in swelling
-Surgery today on his arm and the neck collar will come off
-Ophthalmologist team will most likely be removing his right eye to give left eye a chance at some level of vision (not sure when)
-At this point (not definite) but for now, they feel positive about hearing and brain activity

Thank you kwsher for sending the card. It was a fitting gesture on behalf of the community.

I certainly said some prayers for their son, and for their entire family. May he recover quickly and completely!

I was hoping it was NOT going to be as bad as I thought when I read the gofundme page. Sad

Had my SC shave just now and had a small moment of silence and a talk with the man upstairs.
