Soap Commander Courage Scent

When it comes to soap scents I basically describe them in caveman terms. "Me Like" of "Me no like".

I just received Soap Commander Courage and as far as scent (haven't used it yet) "Me like."

It smells very similar to my Fine Platinum which is supposed to be inspired by Creed Aventus.

I've read some say it's Soap Commanders take on Aventus and others say it's Chanel Bleu de Chanel.

Anyone with a better sniffer know which one its modeled after or are these two scents just very similar.

IIRC it was based on Bleu de Chanel,I think I may have confirmed it through emails with Darren some time back.
Unfortunately I no longer have the Courage soap(traded away)to give it a whiff,but I am sure it wasn't a Aventus clone.Nice scent on its own though.

It's Chanel Bleu. I liked Courage so much I picked up the Chanel Bleu EuaDe Parfum.

yeah, courage smells great. in fact, I've liked every soap commander scent I've tried except for fortitude.

I had no idea. I have the courage balm and love it. I had a sample of Bleu de Chanel and did not care for it..

I agree that the SC Courage is similar in scent to Bleu de Chanel. It pairs pretty well with Aventus, but the Bleu is much closer.

From the YMMV department, I enjoy the SC scents, but my absolute favorite is the Fortitude! It pairs well with Tobacco scents, and it may be in the top 5 favorite scents of all the soaps I have. This may have to do with the fact that my fragrance sense is more like Wolverine's (me like/me no like) than Andrew's who has a more nuanced sense of these things.
