I don't often do reviews but do join in for my $.02 worth. This was my first time trying Sir Henry's Black and Tan. Price was good, scent is mild but noticeable. Makes good lather with little effort and has a good residual slickness. I did tweak lather a bit on my face but overall was an excellent shave.

My experience with Black & Tan mimics this.  Kudos to Dominick and crew.

Boys. His soaps are grand. Sandalwood, barbershop, & tobaccos flavors are solid. If you don't like, you can return! [Image: c503bdc3669b174989943de2f0c53a9c.jpg]

You sir are correct and I have every scent they produce.  Quartet is the best barbershop in the business.  Sandalwood is the new heir to the throne.  Island Estate is what other bay rums wish they were. Black Vlevet is this Vetiver lovers dream come true. Black and Tan gives tonka the home it deserves.  And the crew that makes the magic happen are solid dudes.  I’ll wear one of their EdPs today!  This is the soap I give to new shavers because it’s so forgiving and smells great.

I am an admitted fan boy. Thanks for opening my eyes Lip.

For me the:

Bay Rum is the best in wet shavedom.

Quartet is so good I save it for holidays [Thxgvg, Xmas etc]

El Jefe the most unique tobacco centric puck out there - a wonderful musk forward base. I wear that puck out on fall weekends.-sometimes just sniff it when I walk by the den.

As good as the fragrance is - performance is really what grabs my attention. TOP TIER.
