I used to feel the Merkur 37C was the best, until the Razorock Wunderbar came along and took the # 1 spot ... for me ... YMMV. It's as good as any explanation I've run across. (I'm assuming it is legit to post a link to another forum ?)Just curious Jimmy if you had any experience or luck with slant, cuz I haven't had the opportunity yet.?

The ATT S1 & S2 are nice too, but a bit milder than the Wunderbar, and they aren't cheap either.(01-20-2020, 05:44 PM)JimmyH Wrote:Wow that's fantastic! That sure looks like a nice collection. I don't know from a scientific point of view why the torqued blade works, but I can say it works for me. OTOH, once I discovered the Wolfman, Charcoal Goods, Blackbird, and Timeless I left the slants behind. Which is not to say that I won't pick them up again, but not for the foreseeable future.

I may try it again sometime, but I'm in no hurry to do so.doesn't add much to the original topic but I would encourage you to use the german for a couple weeks straight. Overall, it's efficient and easy to learn.
