Are one of these blades generally considered superior to the others? If not, which would be considered the sharpest (and least likely to cause irritation from tugging)?

1. GEM PTFE
2. GEM Blue Start Super
3. Feather FHS 10

Edit: Well it's unanimous, I'll be getting a pack of GEM PTFE's. Thank y'all for the helpful replies!

On my skin the GEM Blue doesn't work at all. Never tried the Feather. And I really like the GEM Ptfe.

Dittos the GEM SS PTFE. Buy them in bulk for the best price. Connaught shaving had the best price in bulk even when shipped from the UK. I don't know if that's still the case.

They are so sharp when fresh that they might be a problem. To solve that I use them in a milder razor for 3 or 4 shaves, then put it into my more aggressive razors after they've been broken in. Some folks hand strop them.

I prefer the GEM PTFE blades as they are nice and sharp and very long-lasting.
The Feathers FHS are very sharp, but they don't last as long as the GEMs.
I have never tried the GEM Blues.

I just purchased a 100 count from Connaught - it was definitely the best price I could find.

Personally, I prefer the PTFE's. The 1st one I tried was a dud...I couldn't understand why everyone loved them. Then I tried it again and WOW! Very smooth and ended up getting around 20 shaves off it

I bought a package of 100 duds from someone on ebay. I vowed never to do that again. Now I have a lifetime supply and then some, from reputable sources. We live and learn.
