Looks beautiful.

I have one in good condition. I thought about having it replated but I don't really want to "erase" the laser engraved Gillette logo... I like it a lot. It's a nice touch.

I don’t recall that either of these had the Gillette etched on the top cap.

If anyone knows the model I’d be happy to know. The memory you know. The other one was in a blue box. I had them both replated by Chris at RazorPlate in the original gold because, well, gold. I gave the other one to my son. He mines gold do I figured he out to have a gold razor.

Mark, I'm no professional but some came in a case that said "Gold Tech" it looks like a postwar Gold Fat Handle Tech.

Most of us aren’t professionals either and we take a lot on faith. Like are those the boxes the razor actually came in or just a box picked up along the way that looks nice and can get you a higher price?  I don’t know. I guess it depends if you’re a collector and you’re looking for authenticity. It’s always buyer beware and I figure that a lot of us over pay for vintage stuff in the early days of our traditional shaving journey when we’re bitten by the vintage bug.

Lots of times the lettering rubbed off the felt which may have happened to yours if that was the situation. Seems the boxes looked like yours. I'll look for a pic and be back........

Here are a couple of examples from Mt Razor Site. 1 with and 1 without the Gold Tech lettering
