26mm Gelousy (Gel-Tip) 2 Badger Knots are now on their fourth batch, A4. Subtle differences to the A3 include more backbone and as such as slightly more compact look. Same great gel tips, have a look below, that's the tips just after one shave!

The 26mm G5C knot has finally restocked. After ETAs all over the place, being told there was delays then getting priority, it’s finally back! A welcome restock and certainly a cornerstone of my current offerings.

Please allow a few days for shipping, I will ship in a first come first serve basis but this is definitely my most highly requested knot so I can see demand outpacing my ability to fulfill for a few days. Just an FYI.

Just to show the exemplary customer service from AP Shave Co, I inquired about timeline for G5C's restock at least 3 - 4 times over the past few months and Andrew's team responded instantly each time.  I've had a very unique handle from Chisel and Hound and I wanted to install a solid-performing synthetic knot on it.  The patience paid off, they were back in stock much sooner than anticipated and I look forward to receiving it in the mail soon!   Thank you again Andrew!

I have been back and forth for months now whether to get the 24mm or the 26mm. I have other G5 knots so I know that they are shorter and that that varies with size. That is my dilemma right there. I know 100% it's going to be 49mm +/- 1mm. I also know that if you set these too low, it is not beneficial like some other knots. Right now, I am still leaning toward 24mm partly because I won't have to get the handle drilled deeper. But that in itself isn't enough reason. I am interested to hear opinions.

Just grabbed a G5c and a Silk Smoke! Looking forward to trying these out!

Yeah you’ll want to set right above the glue base if you’re looking for lots of splay. Personally I do it at about 12mm / 14mm maximum for these knots, they’re around 65mm for the most part which gives you a loft of about 52-50mm!
