Will, the shipping's not too bad if you don't require tracking. This would only be a consideration for items that you just couldn't get any other way. I think with many artisans starting to have their products distributed by non-US vendors such as Italian Barber, Men Essentials, Badger Shaving Co. to name those I'm familiar with, the problem is being alleviated somewhat. I think Canadian vendors don't face the same restrictions as US based ones do with respect to alcohol and badger bristle so the Canadian based vendors can ship these products to anywhere in the world. I'm not sure the cost of shipping from Canada to the UK but its likely similar to shipping from the UK to Canada which I've done in the past. If you put together a large enough order the shipping cost as a percentage of the purchase price isn't too nauseating.

Rather than the embassy, become a staffer, get status and ship via diplomatic pouch. Easy as pie Wink

I like how you think Kevin, you would have made a great lawyerSmile

On the preservative aspect, I think there's a small amount of alcohol that is permissible under the rules before it triggers the restriction. Might be enough to preserve.

Oli, you will love it. Its so good that I'm not really fussed about not being able to get the aftershave. Shawn has a deal pending with Men Essentials which is in Toronto so its only a matter of time in any case.

Sounds good, I must admit the ingredient list for the Toner looks A+ so I will look forward to it Smile

I tried to order some Folsom from a shop in Canada and was denied because of the alcohol content.  Needless to say, I was heart broken.
