Shick Krona

I don't know what year my Shick Krona double edge safety razor is but I do know it's the kind with the black handle. To be honest, I'm kind of scared to use it for the very first time because I've never shaved with a safety razor before. I read people's advice throughout the forum site, and I really do love the advice. I guess there's a first time for everything and when you try something new it seems scary at first.

UPDATE: The razor is a Shick Krona, with a black handle, I'm getting a brush, soap in a round plastic can, and some blades. I will make a second update once I get my package and see the make, model and brand of the brush, soap and blades.

Don't be scared of it not a problem just do not press on it just lightly Glide the razor across your face and you'll be able to feel what you need to do

Or Splurge a little and by yourself and adjustable Gillette and start on setting one. And I can set you up if you want

You picked a mild razor to start out with. Good choice IMO. Like somebody already said just use a light touch and it will be fine.

So...you have a Gillette, your friend sent you a free Schick plus everything else you need to get started, and you still thought it would be acceptable to PM me and ask me to give you a straight razor for free?

You conduct yourself in an immature manner. I'm not trying to insult you I am trying to help you see the impression you make. You come across as an entitled child that expects things to be handed to him. Life doesn't work that way. I called you "kid" not because I thin you are a child but because life has clearly not shown you that you must EARN what you get in this life.

Take however you want, but I offer this in a last ditch effort to get you to understand how you are perceived and to give you an opportunity to make the necessary adjustments in your actions to change that perception before bad things happen...
