I shave 6 days a week usually so for that reason I never bought one. It has blade feel aplenty and I found the sharp, angular design of the head to feel too harsh on the skin. I love the look of it though and as I said, the results were amazing. You just have to be mindful or it will bite. Just my 2 cents. I hope you end up liking it though.

The exact things that I've heard and kept me from getting it but some say smooth. YMMV is a scary thing on blind buys.......

After 3 daily shaves, I find myself in agreement with you two. Yesterday's shave was close, and while not exactly uncomfortable, it wasn't exactly as comfortable as other razors I have used.

Today's shave was with the Yates M 921. Great shave, great feeling during and after, and I figured out the 'bird probably isn't the best for me.

... Stay tuned for what's next!

And to build a little suspense, or just to give me a chance to write more  Winking, I will add that the Blackbird was an impulse purchase.  And since impulsiveness sometimes works for me (okay, probably not!), I became impulsive again.

Wow Eric! What did you do with my minimalist friend, are you still in there? Lol.  It's fun to try different razors and  my wallet  disagrees with me at times of purchases.
The more I take the Blackbird out the more I appreciate it.
Yeah the Yates keeps staring at me, I must hold the wallet tighter.haha

Hey, I am in there somewhere! My bet is there will be a purge in the future! Until then, I am enjoying the variety.

Single edge week this week. Soap is Sterling's unscented with beeswax, brush will be a SynBad. Yesterday was the Schick Type M, today was the Type G, days I work will be the Vector, then back to the injectors. At least that is the current plan! I had been holding a weekly fixed four, and I like the consistency as well as what I learn. But lately I've been enjoying mixing it up!
Hope you all have a great week!
