Addendum: This morning's Spring Forward shave
The JR341 and the Karve CB were the hardware choices. I had a relaxing and comfy shave going, until I noticed leaking on my chin. By the end, I had several spots that needed the styptic pencil! What the heck?! Now, maybe all were maskne, acne, or rosacea related, and they were all in the chin and mouth corners areas, so it is possible. Or maybe I need to get used to the CB after using the Overlander and the 921 (which shave similarly to me). But no RCS today. Very happy to say that I did feel refreshed with a cold-water splash after applying the sealant, so all was good again!
In Spring Forward news, I see some US Senators are proposing making DST permanent, no more springing and falling. They cite studies showing increased heart attacks in the Spring and car accidents (I think) in the fall. Whatever, bodies tend not to cope well to these artificial changes, per the Senators. All I know for sure are a couple of things: some states already choose not to observe time changes and there are valid studies showing that making workers go through rotating shift work (ie, moving on a schedule between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts) has long term health consequences, one being shorter lifespan! My BIL works shift work at a paper mill, and the mgmt rotates shifts out of "fairness" so all have to do all shifts and everyone gets time making the shift differential for 3rd.
So, you know, important Congress stuff happening
