I agree with Mickey Oberman ‘s post above. Whenever I use a mild razor or blade I find myself doing more touch ups to try to achieve the desired result. It invariably ends with weepers, irritation and even nicks. I think that’s the paradox of the mild razor if you’re looking for bbs shave.

Are you remembering to relather for buffing/touchups? Never ever go over an area without relathering is an old cardinal rule.  

I plead guilty. I very rarely relather for touch ups.

I find that whatever lubricant is secreted by the S, C, C, remains and is is reactivated by a little dab of water.

Yes, that is very important - whether you grab your brush and slap on another coat or just reach into your ear for some spare lather to smear on the spot you want to quickly touch up.  The ears are a great spot for holding a reserve of lather as well as down low on your neck.  I can't be the only one who does this.

Maybe behind my earlobes and in the bottom tips of my moustache, but inside your ears, Marko?  What are you doing?    

I don't know, it just gets in there Probably because I want total coverage and I'm not as precise in application around the sideburn and jaw line area. I just have to be sure to clean it out afterwards or everything sounds muffled!! Speak Up!
