I've found the Jack Black Supreme Cream Triple Cushion Shave Lather to be very nice. Good if I don't want to take the time to lather up a soap.

I have four; Classic, Bourbon Vanilla, Refreshing Mint & Heritage Red.
It doesn't lather. Don't bother with a brush. But it's slick and it works great and I love it.
Just an idea ...

Yes. Prior, had felt nothing could be worse than canned goop - Cremo proved that thesis false

Like most folks, I first started with Cremo. It is readily available and they offer a few (more now) scents. Like most, it works quite well if you get the water ratio right. It's also finicky. If you use too much, you might as well shave with only water. Too little, you'll horribly clog the razor in 1 pass. Regardless of my skill with the water ratio, it eventually clogged. Not a perfect answer for me.

I don't personally agree with Dan that it's worse than Barbasol, etc canned goo. However, I'm in a similar way - it's never been an ideal product. However, some folks have seemed to find the 'magic' in it. I believe one of our regular scent aficionados uses/used it for travel, sometimes, with good results.

(Edit: I may be wrong, but I think it was Lip Lipripper660 ?)
