Vintage Shaver
Seattle, WA
A 1955 Jaguar D-Type racing car just sold at a Sotheby auction for $21.8 million, and the first Cobra ever produced by Carroll Shelby sold for $13.7 million. So if a spouse complains about the costs of the shaving items that keep appearing in the mail, one could argue that there are much more expensive hobbies. "It could be worse, honey...."

I'll take the Shelby.

Yes, indeed, cars as a hobby cost some serious $$$, but not as much as boating.

I always wanted a Shelby Cobra especially the kit cars because they put BMW suspensions in them, stainless steel exhaust new technology for under 40000 you can get a Turn-Key Shelby Cobra for a fraction of the cost and probably rides and performs better than the original.
