Just seen the new Shave It Flip It Maul.

I like the idea.
But looks a bit bulky.
And not sure about the ease to use.

Any experience?

I actually tried that out when RR shipped their original Mamba 53 with the two piece halo handle. I put a Wunderbar head on the other side. Balance and control was a problem. The simplest solution is to go with a dual comb design like the vintage Emir, or a straight bar/slant bar design like the Lady Pomco, or the dual aggression design like my messed up Asylum 17-4 mod (which actually is a quad aggression because each side has two aggression levels.  Winking

Unique for sure. Seems it would be cumbersome to me but I could be wrong. Looking forward to reviews Happy2

The original Mamba (before it was named Mamba 53) came with a two piece handle that could be unscrewed at the bottom to make it shorter or lighter. I think the original intent was to have different base parts like a stand that could screw in to the bottom. Still, it was threaded for M5 and so a razor head could screw in to the bottom end.

I put on a Wunderbar head just to see how it would shave. Although not a complete disaster, it wasn't my best shaver.

Since that time, if I ever wanted to shave with a SB and a slant, I would take out my Lady Pomco, which combines both, one on each side.

I know the slant side is a frown instead of a twist, but the edge of the blade is torqued and so it acts like a slant.
