Same thing happened to me :p. Been testing it exclusively for the past week or so.

I wonder if they can reduce the price somehow. Just paying customs for the pleasure of trying it would be painful (troubles of the non US shaver...), including shipping back costs. Not to mention the wife's reaction to such a price tag...

Question to OneBlade owners: did you explore KAI's blades in the OB? It seems that some of them, at least one, in their range have the same form factor as the Feather's. Click here

I would have tried them when I had my OB if I had known they existed. Thanks for this discovery. I see they are carbon steel and are #23 and #24. I wonder how we can locate them for purposes of learning price and availability.

I asked Kai about this earlier today via the Contact form on the webpage linked to by Lacaff. (Perhaps others did too.) I'll report back when hearing from them. They are carbon blades, though, with the pros and cons of carbon...

Yes, as others have noted it appears that the only ones that could possibly work are carbon. I have no desire to use a carbon blade but it is still good information for those who do like carbon blades.

I got a response from KAI this morning:

Quote:I am sorry, the blades what you mention at your e-mail are not for shaving,
It is for industrial. In addition, we sell only completed razors."

I asked what they are for, if they could be used for shaving, and whether they are available for purchase in EU/US. I suppose one could still try them for shaving, but the general rule seems to be that what is not made for shaving is not good for shaving. That is at least the case with spined SE blades AFAIK.
