I just subscribed to shave nook but didn't do a search for Shannon's. Instead, I sent her an email inviting her here. Would love to know what you did to get banned from the nook. Big Grin Did you, I don't know, post a link to gillette foamy?

I don't know why I got banned.  you'd have to ask Ravi or Phil.   Tongue

my guess is that they didn't like the fact that I followed through with my departing words of opening up an awesome shaving forum.

I saw my favorite Artisan got banned from the nook also. I've popped in there occasionally, but spend most of my time here now.

if that artisan isn't already on this forum, invite them over. we're friendly to all artisans. Smile

Yup, already here. In fact, I found this forum through their Facebook page. Smile

Yep. I wasn't mentioning it for fear of hijacking the thread.

Nice. I would love her to hang around with us here. I have a feeling this soap is about to explode in popularity now that is available in a bigger online shop. I'm proud to be one of her first loyal followers when she was literally unknown to all.

I ordered lime and coconut from her a few days ago and received it today. I loved the scent (wish she made an as same scent) . Later today I shaved with it. I had about two days growth and thought the soap was was awesome. It was as slick as black ice and lathered right up. I might have liked a bit more cushion but I think that's me not being used to the soap. It was a great shave and the razor just glided over my face. I only have one other soap that was a slick (no idea which one is slicker) and that was Tim's. I have other highly regarded soaps in my den and Shannon's rose to the top 2. I would encourage anyone to try the soap. (yes the shave was bbs but that not all that makes a great shave to me)
