Shampoo Bar

Mike’s Natural Soaps also has shampoo bars, but only occasionally, so getting one can be hit-and-miss. I have a sample that I have not yet tried.

I really should get a Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements “Cavendish” shampoo bar, because that scent is one of my favorites.

I've been using them for the last 4-5 years or so, along with natural bath soap bars. I have not looked back. As far as shampoo bars go I recommend Sudsy Soapery, Mystic Water, and Queen Charlotte Soaps.

I'll just try some of my bath soaps as shampoo and make a batch with more hair loving oils. Every artisan I checked except PAA uses bath soap formulas pretty much so maybe that's all that's required for a good bar. I bought the PAA because it has manuka honey and cider vinegar and a different formula all together.

I use Mickey Lee Soap's shampoo bar. The green tea and kraken bars are my favorite!

I've used Mike's and Mystic Water shampoo bars.  They both work very well.  I would give  Mystic Water shampoo bars a slight edge in preference(for me.) http://www.mystic4men.com/hair-care.html. Michelle(Mystic Water) also has an explanation of a vinegar rinse on the same page with instructions.

I've never heard of them until this thread, something new to try.

I've used several types, and I like Mike's the best. But they usually are out of stock, so you have to grab a bunch of them quickly whenever they are available.

I have used Mike's for about two years now. Given the favorable comments regarding the other artisan shampoo bars, there are quite a few that I need to try. I believe I will try MW next.

I have tried several and for the last couple of years I have been using Chagrin Valley. Their bath bars are great too.
