I'm going to give her a break for a bit while I use my DE razors and try the new Paradigm Salient razor out.
When I start back up I will probably be having some sort of playoff between a few blades.
To my mind at the moment
Schick Prolines and Kai Mild pinks need a second looks.

Might be another one or two in that lineup but that will be what I would call middle efficient/smooth of the blades at this moment, for me.

Probably tried the Softguard and Protouch back and forth to gather my preference, or something like that for the extra smooth.

I'm already sure from plenty of use before and this thread that Feather Professional Super is my top dog efficient AC blade.
I can't use the super very many days in a row without really getting angry skin.Every great once in a while it would quick close shave.

To demonstrate how vastly different the La Faulx shaves, use a Feather ProSuper in it for QD shaves

Hi DanLaw! I bought a single Feather SoftGuard from Razor Blades Club when I was trying out different blades with my Vector Ti, and don't remember it much. You like it for daily shaves? Maybe I will try another in the future. Is it very different from the Kai ProTouch MG? I do have a container of those.

I also have a container of ProSupers, and am looking forward to trying those in my La Faulx. I will report back when I have time to do another set of comparisons.

Please PM an address. The blade bears no resemblance to any Kai. SoftGuard is a wonderfully mild feeling yet efficient blade: little tuggy on the initial pass but delightful afterwards. Just a joy

After a few days off with the Paradigm Salient I jump back to the Vector Ti.
I've made my round pretty fairly with the AC blades up to this point.
This morning I used the Kai  Protouch because I remember it been pretty smooth easy going on the skin and relatively efficient.
I got a pretty good shave and a good amount of efficiency and smoothness with it.
This shave was with a brand new blade.
I'm sitting here about 11 hours out and still feel that it was pretty efficient.
Considering it's a guarded blade it works out pretty good for me.
Let's see what tomorrow brings.

This morning shave I started off with a Feather Softguard.
Part of the way through the first pass it was tuggy and feel like it needed help so I pulled it out.
I put in a new Kai Protouch AC blade and went for it.
The Protouch picked up the slack and after some passes and touch-ups did a great job with a very close comfortable shave.
I dare rate anything at a BBS because not sure I ever get one or have had one.
There's some AGT whiskers here or there to be felt with any shave I've ever had.
Things are always subject to change in the future we never know but for now here's the way it goes, for me.

First pass with SoftGuards always tuggy [unless daily shaving] if not riding cap as though life depends upon it but smoothes out in 2nd and 3rd pass.  Next mildest blade in Vector is ProGuard but must have 4+ days growth or tears up the face

Kais are brutal on my face in a Vector, even the mildest guarded, no matter how many days beard growth

Today's shave was with a Pro Guard blade and this was the fourth use. But I don't have a new one Not really fair to compare a used blade to a new.
It was a pretty quick shave today not as smooth as the Pro Touch but I kind of went through it pretty quick also. I plan on getting a new blade to run this one again.
It was a pretty good shave though considering everything.
I'll keep this one open for now because it's not a fair assessment.
Probably move on to my middle of the lineup blades.

I've used the Kai Mild, the Kai captain and Feather Professional.
It seems like the Kai Captain  is falling behind the other two blades but will report back after some more shaving.
I'm trying to come up with some personal rankings so let's see.
