Any experience whit this? Does the razor get rusty ?

it would be pretty hard to get the blade back inside the razor if you took it out, unless you used a fresh blade every time you shaved with the razor.

Leave it in as when you remove it you drag the blade across the two blade "stops" on either end on the face of the razor thereby dulling the blade. It won't rust easily in the razor. If you must, soak the entire head of the razor (with blade therein) in a small cup of rubbing alcohol for a few minutes, shake dry and then leave out to dry totally. Alcohol is a water dispersant. I have left injectors loaded for months w/o a speck of rust.

As well, if you don't have a "blank" to load in the razor before loading a new blade then you will ruin the new blade as well. Use the blade you just dulled as your blank.

Type F is a great razor.
Slightly more aggressive than an E1 (IMHO)

Please post a photo of your ultra rare E1.

I found a (cased!) adjustable years ago at an antique store near me. Injectors are fantastic.

How are the Personna blades that Connaught sells?

Most regard the Schick blades as made in China and Schick Proline B-20 blades from Japan as smoother blades.

True, but they also don't have keys. I guess I can jury rig it myself, but part of the elegance of injectors is that the old blade slides out and the new one slides in.

The Chinese Schicks do have keys. You can get them on Amazon.
