True story. I was headed out of downtown to Queen Anne by bus (Rapidride D) before noon today and glanced at a fellow bus rider who was on a tablet and looking at DFS. I did a double take and sure enough it was DFS!

Generally on public transit I keep to myself, but decided to say something on my way out. Unfortunately, when I looked up the fellow DFS'er was gone!

It's a small world and I am kicking myself for not saying something!

I'll bet that was me! Long-haired old guy with a brown Stetson fedora on an iPad? Why didn't you say anything? I know it's almost impossible to find gear in the wild, but to find a DFSer? Virtually impossible! Time for you and me to have a beer. I'm buying the first. PM me.

P.S. Did you notice the big mustache and the soul patch, as well as the weirdest and dirtiest set of eyeglasses you've ever seen?

Excellent! It is always great to chat with a fellow wet-shaver and I hope you guys get together for a beer!

We have quite a few meet-ups with some regular guys, here, in Vancouver. Shy

I never need an excuse for a visit to Vancouver. In case my response on the train ride was ambiguous. I'd love to meet up with you guys. Plus, if you want to save shipping, I'm happy to have gear shipped to me and haul it up to Vancouver which, by the way, is one of the most glorious cities in the world...

Let me know when. I always need excuses for Vancouver visits... Not.

Yes, I think it was you...bear in mind the weather was horrible and I couldn't see any facial features...but I was pretty sure you'd see this post. I've lived in Seattle for 11 years and think I've adopted the Seattle freeze.

I'm game to find a time to meet @ Holy Mountain.. PM incoming.

Got your PM. Of course, you're another god*amn lawyer (as am I). Let's meet by your office. As you know, I ride the bus and, as much as I'd love to visit that brewery, it's not on my route. I'll PM you back.
